Tess - our 12ft shepherd hut with stable door

Our shepherd huts are built in sections in our workshop and assembled in your garden.  This allows us to get them into just about any garden that has a pathway for access, without the need for tractors or cranes.

Tess is perfect for smaller gardens and is ideal as a garden office or a special place to get away from it all.  There is room for a large sofa, double bed or chaise longue, plus a log burning stove and a table or desk too.  The exterior can be clad in a thick treated timber, cedar, larch or Douglas fir that all turn a beautiful silver grey as they weather.

We like to keep things local and our English oak, cedar, larch and Douglas fir is all grown & milled in Dorset.  This makes our huts great for the environment as well as for us.  Our blacksmithery is all sourced from Dorset, Devon or Welsh firms.  

The Barney, a raised deck with matching corrugated steel roof, can be added to one end of the hut, perfect for a sundown tipple - please see the image of our 16ft hut with The Barney attached for details.  The Barney also comes as a matching, stand-alone 12ft or 16ft gazebo with its own deck if required.
